In the News…

--

The past few months have been quite busy as my family has prepared for the new addition of our daughter in a few months, preparation for the upcoming accreditation visit at SWBTS, my normal teaching load, and several writing projects. In November I presented a paper at the annual national meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society. This semester I’m working on a few writing assignments, editing articles for Artistic Theologian, and planning on submitting book proposals to publishers.

Today, two articles came out highlighting some of my recent work. They both did a good job in summarizing my thoughts and sharing them to a larger audience.

Baptist Press

In this article, David Roach reports on several presentations concerning music and worship at the recent ETS meeting, including those of my friends, colleagues, and fellow SWBTS graduates Drs. Scott Aniol and Robert Pendergraft.

Cultivating God-Centered Worship

On his website and blog, Cultivating God-Centered Worship, Shawn Eaton gave a review and endorsement of my article in Artistic Theologian, “Why Worship Leaders Should Study Theology.”
